A customer wanted a display photo of her favorite park. With photo merging and various other editing skills I was able to create the display image required.
I asked her to take a set of overlapping photos that could be merged into a large panoramic. Using her smartphone and rotating as if it were on a tripod she sent me this set of six images. While holding the phone in a strange way to ensure proper rotation she accidentally included her finger in a couple images. In addition to the finger there were people in the park to remove after merging. Additional issues included missing sections, object distortion, lack of sky and ground proportions, and inconvenient shadowing.
Each of these issues I was able to correct without losing any realism. The final product creating an image file printable up to 16" x 40", a large display panoramic.
